The Albanian Diaspora Business Chamber becomes member of the Investment Council

The Albanian Fund for Diaspora Development, represented by the Executive Director Mrs. Blerina Turdiu and the Albanian Diaspora Business Chamber, represented by Mrs. Soana Jaupllari, participated in the following and the first meeting of the Investment Council for this year.

By the end of the last year, the two institutions became members of the Investment Council by the decision of the Council of Ministers. During this meeting, the importance of municipal-business interaction was emphasized for the increase of transparency and the economic development of the country.

The Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj, and the Minister of State for Entrepreneurs, Eduard Shalsi noted the progress and the implementation of the administrative-territorial reform. In 2019, the Investment Council conducted a survey around Albania on the interaction of entrepreneurs with local government. Moreover, during this meeting participants discussed several other issues.
